On the December 1 episode of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” Sally Field shared her least favorite on-screen kiss after a fan’s question.

Field, 76, was initially hesitant but eventually revealed that her worst kiss was with Burt Reynolds, her former boyfriend and co-star in “Smokey and the Bandit.” Field joked about it being a “shocker” and explained that the kiss was difficult because Reynolds wasn’t very good at it.

She noted that during the filming, there was a lot of “drooling” on Reynolds’ part. Field and Reynolds met in 1977 while working on the film and dated for about five years. Reynolds, who passed away in 2018, had expressed regret about their relationship in his memoir, wishing he had tried harder to make it work.

Field later explained to Variety that she had stopped speaking with Reynolds in the last 30 years of his life because he was not good for her. She mentioned that Reynolds had idealized their past relationship, which she found difficult to deal with.

Always have had nothing but high praise and respect for the works of Sally Field. Absolutely top-notch!
